I’m so glad I found Harriet. I’ve tried gyms and personal training before but never stuck with it. Nine months in with Harriet, and it’s a testament to her that I’m still going strong. She is so friendly and easy to talk to (she should be a therapist too!), and she has a fantastic way of pushing you with genuine encouragement. Although I was initially worried I might be too shy to work out in the park, I now absolutely love it - the fresh air really makes a huge difference to my workout and it’s great to get out of the house.

I’ve been training with Harriet for around 18 months and had such a great experience. My husband started off using Harriet and I would occasionally join in sessions which she would adapt for us as a couples workout with both of us having different goals for our fitness. My goal was to build strength and work on my core and overall fitness levels.

I used to be more focused on going to a gym but I find having a personal trainer like Harriet much more worth it as it keeps me motivated but also is a lot more flexible around work and children where I felt I didn’t have time for the gym anymore.

I then got pregnant and worked with Harriet throughout my pregnancy right up to around 35 weeks and she adapted all of our workouts to support my pregnancy and help build strength in my core and back, which especially helped as I did suffer with back pain and sciatica this pregnancy and her workouts helped to gently stretch out and ease the pain long term. Once my baby is a bit bigger I will definitely be going back to training with Harriet again!

Harriet is very bubbly, hugely enthusiastic and helps you to achieve your goals.

I found Harriet when hunting for someone to help me work on my core; like many runners I mostly just run and don't do enough strength training.

Before meeting I completed a questionnaire to enable Harriet to assess my needs, where I was with my fitness and any injuries or health needs that needed to be taken into account.

Then we got going. Every session was an hour long, carefully planned in advance, huge fun and Harriet always encouraged me to push beyond my comfort zone and some! Laughter was an integral part of every session too - though laughing a day or so later definitely hurt from my aching muscles . No session was ever the same and Harriet takes time to explain and show the exercise and always ensures that you're doing it correctly; will also suggest an alternative if needed.

Over the weeks and months I grew stronger, able to take on tougher challenges and found my posture improving which in turn helped my running.

I really can't recommend Harriet enough, extremely knowledgeable, lively and enthusiastic and genuinely interested in seeing you progress.
